Below is a quick guide to help you with any dining chair assembly queries.

All assembly on any self assembly chair is designed to be as simple and straightforward as possible, with each chair taking around 4-5 minutes to complete typically.

Most of the dining chairs are supplied fully assembled at manufacturing stages, but some such as the Bella & Abby dining chairs, are supplied for simple home assembly and require the legs attaching to the seat.

FIXING PACKS & TOOLS

All of the self assembly Dining Chairs come with their own Fixing Kits, and Tools – You will not need anything else.

‘SITING’ OR ‘LOCATING’ THE BOLTS

When the dining chair requires bolts inserting and tightening, the easiest and correct way to do this is by ‘Siting’ or ‘Locating’ the bolts to the holes.

This is done by inserting each bolt just a little way, so that the bolt catches the thread a few turns – but is not tightened up.

This allows for easy movement and free adjustment while you are ‘Locating’ all of the bolt holes.

Once all of the bolt holes have been located by the bolts, you can then tighten them all up a little at a time until they are all tight.

UNLEVEL LEGS OR GAPS UNDER ANY OF THE LEGS

Once a chair is assembled, it is common for a self assembly dining chair or Bar Stool to have a slight gap under one of the legs occasionally.

This is normal and the chair frame will find its natural resting position over a short time and a little use.

However, the quick way to level them off is as follows;

1. Loosen off the bolts a little way, (2-3 turns of the bolt).

2. Turn the chair over and sit on the seat as normal.

3. Turn the chair back over and re-tighten the bolts.

The weight distributed across the seat pad when the bolts have been loosened will settle the bolts into a natural resting place and the frames and legs will sit flat.
